I purchased a Lite On CD/DVD burner with Lite Scribe enabled technology. The software that was supplied with it was Nero 7 SE with Nero Cover Designer. After installing this CD on my older (788 mHz 8 year old PC)it works fine. When I try installing this same CD on my newer 2.0 ghz Dell, which already has Nero 7 full suite installed on it, I get an error message that the computer already has a newer version of Cover Designer installed and that I should uninstall it first before trying install the current software. Is there away around this or do I have to uninstall Nero, install the SE version, and then reinstal my full Nero 7 suite?
    Any guidance is appreciated.
    Bill

Why not just use the cover designer that is already included in your Nero 7 Full, why would you want to put an older version on when it is there? Any reinstall of your full version would just take out the SE any way.

Thanks for the reply Arniebear.......I just thought that somehow the drivers for the burner were contained in the Nero 7 SE since I did not get separate software just for the burner.

...another comment....I uninstalled Nero full suite and then installed Nero 7 SE to test the LiteScribe burner on my "newer" PC. Well it worked, but the imprint left by LiteScribe is extremely light (lite), barely visible, as compared to other imprints I have done. I have a "test" DVD which already contains some Lite Scribing and this earlier material is much darker and easier to read then my test last night. Any ideas?
