Ok, I got Nero 6 already and I use it to watch movies and to burn dvds(It fails quite a bit).Now that I upgraded from W2K to XP I got a new burner and it came with Nero 7 Esssentials OEM suite 2.....as soon as I played a file a warning came out telling me that my 30 days trial for showtime would expire in November , this is like a demo software for the full version of Nero? Should I uninstall Nero 7 and reinstall Nero 6? Could I do it without unisntalling 7? I will be using imgburn for my dvd burning because Nero 6 could never burn Dual layer dvds. Thanks
Using imgburn to burn is a good plan.. now look for free alternatives to the rest of the nero payware (bloatware) thing. Everything that nero does can be done with free applications like dvd flick .. avidemux .. dbpoweramp .. only thing nero does well IMHO is dvd slideshows.
What about play freeware to play your cds? I liked show time. Also can Nero6 and essentials 7 live on the same C drive with imgburn or they would conflict?
