I am helping an older guy with his Nero 7. The program initially worked fine. However recently Nero Express will no longer browse with the + Add Files button applied. It flickers but the browser does not come up to allow for adding files. Drag and drop from Windows Explorer works but not the app browser function. Also in Nero Vision when trying to use the create slide show function as soon as you attempt to browse to add files vision locks up completely, requires termination through the windows application termination routine. I updated Nero to the latest version which didn't fix it, I uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck and also cleaned the registry between the installs. Still the same symptoms. It anyone has any idea on what to try short of a clean XP installation I would be happy to know. Thanks in advance.
Did you run the Nero 7 Clean Tool and the Driver Clean Tool after uninstalling Nero and before reinstalling? Did you try going back to an earlier restore point? Thanks so much for the suggestion. I ran all 4 cleanup programs after uninstalling Nero again and when I did the installation after that it worked correctly. This was much better than redoing the entire machine.
