I've been using Nero 7 ultra for a while. All the sudden when I go to start Nero 7 to burn a DVD, I get the blue screen of death. Everything diagnostically seems fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

Please post more info, which operating system do you have, XP, Vista, Win7, Mac, Linux, etc.
please write down any and all error codes that appear on your "Blue Screen" of Death.
All this info will be greatly appreciated and will speed up a possible solution to your problem.

Dell XSP410, 1GB RAM, 250 HD, O/S XP PRO, Code *** Stop:0X00008086 . Thanks for the reply. Any info will be much helpful. I tried to run other software like to view a movie, no problem. I can use Nero to view movies if I open them with Nero. I do not seem to have any other problems with any other software or hardware. Once again, Thank you for any help you can offer.

I have been out of town for a while, away from my pc. I got it figured out with my Nero problem. It wasn't a n error code either. After I wiped my system and did a fresh install of the software I still had the problem. I tried to initiate the burn process a second time to make sure I was not missing anything I noticed it was trying to load from my cd-rom. I pulled out the blank cd-rom and presto it worked great. The only problem is I have never had this problem before and have had loaded or empty cds in the cd-rom at other times of operation.
Sorry it took me so long to reply. Thanks once again for your help BelievtNC
