First, you have to turn DMA back on.Here's a guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Also, you might wan to try different discs, your DVD+RW might be faulty. It failed in the formatting process, befor the burn even started.

However I'm a complete Vista (and a nearly complete Windows newb; I got xp for games and decided to up to vista ultimate; my primary os on this box is a modified slackware, I haven't touched windows since way back in v3.1 when it was a DOS frontend. So I beg your patience.
