I just wasted two good dvds on two different files. I did the EXACT SAME thing as I always do;Put a sony dvd-r, open nero burning rom 8, same settings and everything, but for some reason it stopped in the middle of burning. The file came from a reliable private tracker(Ntorrent) and all the comments said it worked. Thanks for the reply. I haven't tried it yet but I will soon. I'm also considering using imgburn, it seems a lot simpler. Anyways, I can give you an invite to a private tracker if you want. I also wouldn't mind for more people to give me some suggestions. I just don't want to try one suggestion at a time and waste discs. I'm hoping I get variety of different things to try and then just try them all together.
That is waay too close to the outer edge of the disc. Your compilation is too big, and even if the burn would be successful, the disc would probably freeze, pixelate. Reduce the size of you compilation, I would not go for more than 4400MB.Use Nero Recode to "shrink" your movie. Your burner doesn't really know what to do with those discs. If there is a newer firmware for your burner, update as suggested. That might improve the compatibility between your burner and the discs you use.If not, try different discs. What is the media you use now?
