Im using nero 8, all was fine until i bought vista then cds would not write. it would go straight to 5% completed then stay there for the whole duration of the write process. i went back to xp but still would not work then after A LOT of playing, it would work fine when u unchecked the 'write on CD' option. i must add i tried lots of different versions of nero, ashampoo, easy cd etc, etc and cant get any to write cd text. i bought a new cd drive aswell but to no avail. any help would be much appreciated... cheers, dan.
What blank media brand are you using? I rely on Verbatims. Also what is the speed you are writing at? For CDs it should be at 32x or below.
i use datawrite, which i've used for years. and i write at 24x (have tried all speeds inc 1x). thanks.
