Nero 8 hasnt got a Create DVD option like ni 7.8.5?

    I hve just got the Nero Ultra 8. The first thing I like for is the Creating a DVD option. But to my surprise, this DVD creating one only accepts .vobs and other DVD formats. In the older Nero versions, it would let you take .avi files, and would allow you to move it around. It will convert it to .vob or watever at the end. Why doesnt this version also do that?

    If it cant I am truly disappointed
