Hey guys, new here to the forums and having some difficulties trying to burn some dvd's. I'm not really sure what the problem is, but I recently just upgraded my firmware, even upgraded to Nero 6 to 8 and even bought new media (memorex to fuji) and it still doesn't work. Swapping crap for junk.. good move. Those look like disks faking the ritek media codes. They don't seem to support 8x burning.. probably 4x disks from an unknown source. This error is revealing..
Better media, as a last resort, try burning at 4X. Get ahold of some Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or Sony Disks, these seem to be the most reliable over time. Ritek, sometimes a crap shoot.
I honestly don't think that it is the media but I will try to get some when I get back into town. It doesn't matter which speed I attempt to burn at, it doesn't even start to burn before the errors come up. Anymore solutions? Please guys, kind of need the burner. Please and thank you.
