Nero 8 - Problems continue after complete uninstall - Help!

Hello,

I'm at my wits' end with Nero; it was working fine up until last week. I use it primarily to burn CDRs; I use ImgBurn for DVDs. In any event, I am able to do *one* burn of a CD, but am unable to do another project; Nero just hangs, and I can't get out even using Task Manager; I have to power off using the power button or outlet plug. I have checked DMA in device mgr. and it's ok; I've done a complete uninstall of Nero, used the cleanup tool, done a reinstall, and the problem persists. I have the latest update. I have to shut the computer on and off for every CD I burn.

I've included the log for the last unsuccessful burn; I had to power off the external burner to stop it. The Nero Express window is still up 20 minutes later, with the disc image rotating, and I'm unable to close it.


I have a Dell Dimension 2400 2.5 Ghz, 1.2G RAM

I'd appreciate any input. I don't know what to do.
