I had nero 7 and it worked fine - i uninstalled it and installed nero 8 and now i cant burn anything. When i select a burner i get "Sorry, this version of nero can only be used with the recorder it has been bundled with" It wasnt bundled with the recorder; i downloaded the setup file from nero's web site! Gaah - im Stumped!
Before you can obtain the FULL version of Nero 8 you have to purchase it....just because you had a previous version, in this case Nero7.it doesnt mean you can update to Nero8 for free. You can however update to the latest version of Nero7 for free.
fwiw - i dug through the registry and discovered the serial number was incorrect - changed the serial and fixed the problem - dunno why nero just didn't say "invalid serial number"....
