i have a question even tho it might seem simple...i just bought pioneer external usb 2.0 dvd/cd writer (dvr-x152) ok well it came with nero 8 essentials....i purchased maxell dvd+r because i believed it didnt matter which type of blank media i used since the burner says it reads and writes all... well im trying to copy a store bought dvd and i have dvd43 running but nero is telling me that the dvd+r discs dont have enough space but i have used these discs before on my notebook burner....i dont understand why they wont copy onto these discs?? why would the sizes change?? do i need dual layer discs from now on?? please respond thanks
so you have done the exact same process on your notebook and it worked but not now? dvd43 not a good app, and i think i read you can never get rid of it once installed? maxell are cheap media, verbatim are the best or taiyo yuden size of the dvdr dont change, only the movie size changes, you need to compress it before burning
another rather simple question...if i am using nero 8 what is the process to compress the movie?? and what is another program similar to dvd43 to use ??? thanks
How about the blue screen of death. Do not use dvd43. Need to uninstall. Very, very bad Buy Anydvd instead Skip Nero 8, again, very bad. Nero 6,7 much better. Use dvd shrink with Imgburn Here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/664041
nero recode compresses and dvdfab hd decrypter or anydvd ------ i never used a dual layer disc... ------ as iluvendo says i use anydvd/dvd shrink/imgburn
