Nero 9 keeps closing

For some reason Nero 9 keeps closing on me when trying to create a dvd. My Father got a blu ray movie for Christmas but doesn't have a blu ray player. He asked me if I could convert it to dvd format so he can play it on his dvd player( since I have a blu ray drive). I ripped it with the latest Dvd Fab (movie only to a BD5 format with only the english audio(no subs or any extras) and then took the .m2ts file and put it in nero 9 and selected create dvd video. It gets so far and then just closes( doesn't give me an error or anything). This is starting to really frustrate me because I never had a problem creating dvd movie using nero before.
