Don't buy this programme as their support is horrofic. It did not install with Vista and eventually they agreed this and came up with an update. The whole experience was terrible; they refused to refund the cost and even now they are sending me e-mails which are identical to emails sent 2 weeks ago.

I sent letters to their European and US offices, but no one answers and I am now out of pocket to the tune of $59.

The worst experience I have ever had with any and I mean any software manufacturer

I'm all for changes and updates, but Nero 9 still has tons of bugs, I've tried it and so far they've added tons of useless junks on it and I can't even believe that its file is freaken huge. So for now I'm back to the latest of Nero 8.3.6.0 til Nero 9 is fixed and stable.

I didn't like version 8, so i didn't even bother with 9. I've heard (as Alkohol stated) that there's quite a few bugs to deal with.

I still roll with 7; but do almost all of my burns with Imgburn. (freeware)

I ran the trial version of Nero 9 in XP Pro SP3 and quickly realized that there had been virtually no change from version 8 in some of the tools, most importantly to me Nero Vision, Nero Express, and Nero Showtime. Nero Vision remains the most crippled DVD authoring tool in the market of serious contenders. In fact Nero Showtime has gotten even worse, loading much slower and sometimes not at all for MPG movies larger than 2 GB.

I stayed with version 8 for the time being, but it's no match for Sony Vegas and DVD Architect Pro, even as lackluster as those two turkeys are. As the changeover to Blu-Ray progresses, I see no Nero in my future.

If you haven't already seen this, you soon will, so here's an icebreaker: today I got an email from Nero offering Nero 9, Nero Moveit, Mediahome, even Linux3 in a 2-for-1 sale.

That's right, buy 1, get 1 free. That means that people who want 2 copies for whatever insane reason are getting it for half the price you did.

I hope you get your money back.

    Have a good one,
