Nero advrcntr2.dll - Problem

Hi All
Can someone please help me. I have been using Nero Express6 for years and decided to try a ‘free trial for Nero 8’ I tried it didn’t get on with it and so uninstalled it… Now every time I use windows explorer if I have the view on thumbnails and there is an .avi in the folder I get an error message from Nero saying,

I have tried everything I know to get rid of it. Deleted all files I know of connected to Nero. - Downloaded the driver advrcntr2.dll into my system drivers. - Re installed Nero Express6 and still I get this problem.
I think this could be a registry error but I’m not confident about using reg edit.. I ran Ccleaner and System Machanic
Please can someone help….THANKS
