I have gone through the exhausting process of backing up all of my movies onto an external hard drive. The movies are stored as VOB files merged into one large file. When I try to burn them with nero 6 i come up with the following issues: A) If I try selecting "Burn Dvd-Video Files" I comes up with the following error: "The file is larger than 2 GB and therfore cannot be stored in as an iso file system. Please use the udf file system to write such large files." 99% of my movies are greater than 2 GB and im not even sure what the "UDF file system" is B)I then select "Make Your Own DVD-Video" and it only allows me to add some of my videos...the rest come up with this error: runtime error R6025 pure virtual funtion call. Does anybody know what I can do to work around this and/or is there an easier way to burn these movies once they are backed up as larger vob files?
This one large file may not be DVD compliant. They should be no more than 1GB in size and also have an IFO and BUP file for each VTS. Do you have this? A good way to tell that your files are DVD compliant is to to open them using DVD Shrink.
I know that they are compliant because when I select "make your own DVD Video" it allows me to burn a good majority of the files...but for some reason some of the files come up with the error.
yeah...I merge them becuase i use tversity to stream them to my PS3 and if I just leave them in the folder it doesn't do continues playback
