If it's a SATA burner, then Nero is just reporting it wrong. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Power calibration indicates poor quality media. Verbatim disks that say 'Advanced AZO' on the package are good disks. 16x could be set back to 8x or 4x to test.
