hello. i've been using nero burning rom for about 4 years, and never had a single problem with it. but for some reason (not known for me)yesterday it started showing error message that says i'm missing Wnaspi32.dll file. as i've been reading on the net, i came up with a conclusion, that it's a file that is connected particularly with cd-burning programs (correct me if i'm wrong). so i've downloaded it from some page, but still nero is saying that either i'm lacking this file, or it's an installation error. will any of you be so kind to explain what should i do? were to put this file after i download it? or maybe it's something else? sorry if this is the wrong place/topic for such a question, but i really dunno where else should i go, i used to hang out in this forum few years ago, and u guys used to help me a lot. so thanx in advance. p.s. sorry for my poor english, it's not my native tongue.
Follow this link to correctly install a working ASPI Layer: http://cd-rw.org/articles/archive/aspisetup.cfm Nero Doesn't specifically need to run on these aspi drivers. You have settings in nero options to specifiy if you want it to run off an aspi layer or nero's own driver's. Is it possible someone changed these settings on you by accident? I run my all my burning proggies off adaptec's aspi layer when the proggies will allow. Hope this helps Weycraze
