Hello all. I wouldnt say I am an advanced user but I wouldnt consider myself a newbie either so to be safe I posted this question in this forum because I couldnt find the answer in any threads. I just started using RipIt4Me and I love it because it does all the work I use to do manually. I heard it was always good to burn at 4x. Well here is my problem. With RipIt4Me it automatically pulls up Nero and starts burning and I cannot figure out how to burn at 4x this way. Im using a 16X disc. i watched the movie and it appears to look fine but i just want to check and make sure. Is there a way to change it so I can burn using RipIt4Me at 4x? or is it ok to burn at 16x like this? any help would be great. thanks
Hi smileddog Are you talking about when RipIt4Me opens Shrink which uses Nero to burn? You can set the burn speed after you click backup in the burn settings tab. If you're using good 16x media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden with update to date firmware on the burner I would burn at 8x.
