Hi all, I have been burning CD-Rs and DVD-Rs for months without errors, but I just got this problem several days ago: After some minutes, burning failed, with "Could not perform EndTrack" error message. I used Nero 6.0.0.0 before. After upgrading to 6.6.1.4, I still got the same error message. For troubleshooting, I had tried these: - Replacing power and IDE cables connected to Pioneer DVR-112 - Cleaning the drive using a lens cleaner CD and alcohol - Uninstalling DeepBurner software - Lowering burning speed downto 16x (supposed to be 40x maximum) - Disabling antivirus software while burning I don't know what else to do. I'd be very grateful for any help. Thanks in advance, Bi

Hello, This is a firmware related problem. Your DVD writer is not used to newer type of DVDs. I have just solved this problem by doing this: 1. I find out exactly what kind of DVD writer I have. 2. I went to their site and downloaded the correct firmware, and the instruction. 3. I followed the instruction provided. 4. After flashing the firmware everything went back to normal and even work better than before. Good Luck! Let me know if you hve question Shahab
