Nero CoverDesigner ~ LightScribe

    I just installed a new Samsung DVD-RW drive (SH-S182D) and I'm unable to access the LightScribe option with my current version of Nero. (I have Nero 7.7.5.1 with Nero CoverDesigner 2.7.3.0)

    In Nero CoverDesigner > File > Preferences > LightScribe = there are no drives to select as Default LightScribe drive.

    I have the LightScribe System Software loaded and used the LightScribe Diagnostic Utility to confirm the drive and media.

    I checked the LightScribeService Direct Disc Labeling Service > Status = Started and Startup Type = Automatic

    I loaded the LightScribe Simple Lableler software and it locates the drive and I even was able to burn a disc with that software. (Test only)

    I want to be able to use the full Nero version or is there better software out there? (I was using an old version of MediaFACE and haven't checked to see if new versions support LightScribe burning.

    Suggestions?

    Give Sure Thing 5 a shot...it's what I use. I have Nero too but haven't tried the LS features yet.
