I've been browsing the net all over the place looking for a good DVD player that plays MPEG4 with a reasonable price. I finally decided on the Philips DVP642, but I just found out that it doesn't play Nero Digital MPEG-4. Are there any DVD players out there that will play MPEG-4 that has been made through Nero Digital?
Short answer: YES Try Nero's official Nero Digital Site. Bookmark it and keep checking back for hardware player updates: much like DivX on their offical site showcasing certified DivX players. http://www.nerodigital.com/en/ The Kiss DP-558 (recorder) may be an early contender. German: Siemssen SCO 5000 ND (Similar to Tevion DVD-5000)
Now this is weird. I have the one in silver but it's called "Strato DVD 5000" (I live in Sweden). http://www.geocities.com/jessie_bannon16/my-strato-dvd-5000.jpg I have a problem with playing more than 5 DivX/Xvid files in the "Strato/Tevion/Siemssen DVD 5000". I get to the menu and I can see 5 files but I can't see or get to the other 22(!) files. I use a DVD+R. Anyone know how to solve this?
