It's my first time in this forum and I hope someone can help me! I'm trying to burn a shrinked movie from my hd using Nero Burning ROM, it run for around one hour as if it was burning, although there's not the typical noise while it's working. After it proceeds to 100% the message "Burn process completed successfull" appears, but there's nothing in the media. I've tryed different medias, but still can't get no result. I've done it before and it was ok...Maybe some change in the settings? Here goes the log: Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 10/26/2004 6:35:34 PM Nero Version: 6.6.0.13 Internal Version: 6, 6, 0, 13c Recorder: < Image Recorder> Version: Not available - HA -1 TA 0 - 6.6.0.13 Adapter driver: <Virtual Device> HA -1 Drive buffer : CD-ROM: <PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K15RA>Version: 1.04 - HA 0 TA 1 - 6.6.0.13 Adapter driver: <atapi> HA 0 === Scsi-Device-Map === DiskPeripheral : WDC WD400UE-22HCT0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K15RA atapi Port 0 ID 1 DMA: Off === CDRom-Device-Map === PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K15RA D: CDRom0 ======================= AutoRun : 1 Excluded drive IDs: WriteBufferSize: 73400320 (0) Byte ShowDrvBufStat : 0 BUFE : 0 Physical memory : 502MB (514480kB) Free physical memory: 302MB (310040kB) Memory in use : 39 % Uncached PFiles: 0x0 Use Inquiry : 1 Global Bus Type: default (0) Check supported media : Disabled (0) 7.6.2007 UDF/ISO compilation 9:36:44 PM #1 Phase 112 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1832 DVD-Video files reallocation started 9:36:44 PM #2 Phase 114 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1832 DVD-Video files reallocation completed (no file modified) 9:36:44 PM #3 Text 0 File Isodoc.cpp, Line 6194 Iso document burn settings ------------------------------------------ Determine maximum speed : FALSE Simulate : FALSE Write : TRUE Finalize CD : TRUE Multisession : FALSE Burning mode : DAO Mode : 1 ISO Level : 1 (Max. of 11 = 8 + 3 char) Character set : ISO 9660 Joliet :FALSE Allow pathdepth more than 8 directories : TRUE Allow more than 255 characters in path : TRUE Write ISO9660 ;1 file extensions : TRUE 9:36:44 PM #4 Phase 111 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1832 DVD-Video files sorted 9:36:44 PM #5 Text 0 File Reader.cpp, Line 127 Reader running 9:36:44 PM #6 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 9:36:44 PM #7 Text 0 File Writer.cpp, Line 122 Writer Image Recorder running 9:36:44 PM #8 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 9:36:44 PM #9 Text 0 File Burncd.cpp, Line 3167 Turn on Disc-At-Once, using DVD media 9:36:44 PM #10 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 260 Last possible write address on media: 4718591 (1048:34.41, 9215MB) Last address to be written: 2286111 (508:01.36, 4465MB) 9:36:44 PM #11 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 272 Write in overburning mode: NO (enabled: CD) 9:36:44 PM #12 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2339 Recorder: Image Recorder; CD type reading failed ATIP Data: ? 9:36:44 PM #13 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 438 >>> Protocol of DlgWaitCD activities: <<< ========================================= 9:36:44 PM #14 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 830 Setup items (after recorder preparation) 0: TRM_DATA_MODE1 () 2 indices, index0 (150) not provided original disc pos #0 + 2286112 (2286112) = #2286112/508:1.37 relocatable, disc pos for caching/writing not required/ required, no patch infos -> TRM_DATA_MODE1, 2048, config 0, wanted index0 0 blocks, length 2286112 blocks [Image Recorder] -------------------------------------------------------------- 9:38:19 PM #15 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1043 Prepare recorder [Image Recorder] for write in CUE-sheet-DAO DAO infos: ========== MCN: "" TOCType: 0x00; Session Closed, disc fixated Tracks 1 to 1: 1: TRM_DATA_MODE1, 2048/0x00, FilePos 0 0 4681957376, ISRC "" DAO layout: =========== __Start_|____Track_|_Idx_|_CtrlAdr_|_RecDep__________ 0 | lead-in | 0 | 0x41 | 0x00 0 | 1 | 0 | 0x41 | 0x00 0 | 1 | 1 | 0x41 | 0x00 2286112 | lead-out | 1 | 0x41 | 0x00 9:38:19 PM #16 Phase 65 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1832 Burn process started 9:38:19 PM #17 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 2609 Verifying disc position of item 0 (relocatable, disc pos, no patch infos, orig at #0): write at #0 10:14:37 PM #18 Text 0 File WriterStatus.cpp, Line 116 < Image Recorder > start writing Lead-Out at LBA 2286112 (22E220h), lenght 0 blocks 10:14:37 PM #19 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 228 all writers idle, stopping conversion 10:14:42 PM #20 Phase 66 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1832 Burn process completed successfully Existing drivers: File 'Drivers\ADPU160M.SYS': Ver=v3.60a (Lab01_N(johnstra).010529-2218), size=101888 bytes, created 8/17/2001 2:07:32 PM File 'Drivers\atapi.sys': Ver=5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158), size=95360 bytes, created 8/3/2004 10:59:44 PM (Adapter driver for src) Registry Keys: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\AllocateCDROMs : 0 (Security Option)
Hi elaineg 1st ting edit out the serial # at the top of the post - begins w/ 1A. Don't need someone else using it. For the log you have the image recorder set as the destination not the burner - Recorder: < Image Recorder> So these were saved to your hard drive instead of burned. The discs are probably still good. Pick the Pioneer to have it burn to the disc. CdRomPeripheral : PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K15RA atapi Port 0 ID 1 DMA: Off Turn DMA back on for this the Pioneer too - guide Update Nero too - package 1 only - link
