I'm currently running Nero-7.5.9.0, but Im unable to change my book type settings. When selecting the choose recorder button in Nero Burning ROM and clicking on options, I'm not presented with the book type settings drop down box, it's just not there! As far as I'm aware it should be.

The reason behind me wanting to change these settings is because although I can burn for example Nero Vision projects to DVD they are unable to play in stand alone DVD players. And I was told that the book type settings may be a cause of this.

The other issue I am preseted with is a message which appears as I try to burn a prject created in Nero Vision using Nero Burning ROM. The message say's that I have added DVD-video content to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD-video compliant disk. I'm then instructed to use a DVD-video compliant type.

Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated.

    Mike

Too book type does your DVD writer allow you to do it you can’t book type if it doesn’t
When compiling a DVD you should select DVD video in the drop down menu in Nero burning rom which is on the left hand side your see it when you start the program if your having problems with your disks playing in standalone DVD players what brand of disk are you using and are they DVD- or DVD+ ? also slow down your burn speed to 4x or 6x
