i have recently bought this with the dvd writer. it will not rcognise its own generated serial number. does anyone know why?
Do you know which particular version of Nero 7 it is....you can locate it by clicking on the "Flame" in StartSmart.
i dont have that icon, as i cannot get past the serial problem. it came as part of a multi pack with the phillips dvd writer 'OEM version'

cheers for the pointer, i am busy downloading it now. i did have nero before but it was not functioning properly. when i tried to install this new one it wouldnt let me so i uninstalled the older one and thats when these issues started.
