I've used this program for a while and had no complains. Yesterday I started to copy some movies in DVD and today I found out that somehow they went to my hard drive as well. Although I have a 60 GB hard drive, today I only have 4 GB free. The problen is that I can't find them and erase them... I don't know where they are. When I explore C unit I see it almost full but when try to find these files I can't. I have try every thing I know... from looking folder by folder to searching the drive for different extensions like .nrg.... It has to be the copying process since yesterday my computer wasn't that full

tick on my computer.tick on c drive.tick on tools then folder options.tick view then select show hidden files and folders and untick hide protected operating system. tick documents and settings, name, local settings then temp. this should get u there. nero should delete these files for u after the burn. u might want to check your settings in nero.

Didn't work.... nothing was there, and I am still missing 30 GB in my hard drive... I already runned a scandisk and nothing happened... I guess next step would be formatting my hard drive? painful, ain't it?

Try this to get rid of any temporary unused files. http://www.glocksoft.com/temp_cleaner/ After downloading and installing make sure you go to file and settings and take the tick out of skip read only files, put a tick in scan for windows temp directory, take the tick out of the scan for files created earlier than and untick the collect zip files for cleaning. Remember and save the profile as default overwritting the old default profile so these setting always start on startup.

Think the recycle bin option is up to yourself really if you want it to notify you but i just use the option to move files to the recycle bin and dont ask for confirmation ask deletion. I have been using the program for years and it has yet to delete any file I needed. I forgot to mention that you check all the file extensions too. Any changes you make you have to save to the default profile remember.
