Run this program to remove Roxio, it conflicts with Nero: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml You are using low quality disc. Go get some Verbatims or Taiyo Yudens.
Thanks Nasayin but Roxio? I have never installed Roxio as far as I know. The TDK brand is considered pretty good, I have burned numerous dvds until now. Should I try imgburn??
Run the Roxio Zap first. Then see if you can burn the dvd. If not go buy some Verbs or Taiyo Yudens. I have used TDK in the past and never has CMC MAG code like yours. That code is coming up on your log file. See here why CMC are bad.. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/262544
Ok I checked my computer and I found that some version of Roxio comes with Windows media player?????????? I can not delete windows media player, right? I saw a folder in there, do I just delete it and then run the Roxio zapper??
Ok, I runned Roxio Zap and Nero Showtime played the movie again ( All the sudden it would not play movies ) Encouraged with this I went to burn my movie again and I got this error log immediately! OOOOPS, I WAS CHECKING THINGS IN NERO AND IT SAYS ASPI IS NOT INSTALLED!!!!! DID I DO THAT WITH ROXIO ZAPPER? COULD I UDE THE NERO ASPI LISTED?????
ASPI: try this, version 4.71 from here - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm you are still using CMC mag discs, which as has already been explained are poor quality discs.
Hello guys!! First of all thank you very much for your help. Ok, I went to Nero info tool and picked the Nero ASPI since the system ASPI disappered, I tried burning and tatatata!!!!!!!!!!!!! I burned the movie and it played fine at least in the computer, I did not have time to play in any of the home dvds. So please help me understand.... I upgraded to Window media player 9 and it came with Roxio ( A small file 849 kb )and this small file killed Nero? When I run Roxio Zapper did it erased the ASPI because it was now linked to the Roxio file?? Should I still download and install the ASPI that Gwendolin suggested? Should I trash all of the tdks??
