NERO freeze when adding file!

i have a nero 7 and i mainly use this program to burn movie files to a dvd. its been working great until a week ago when it starts freezing after i click the add button to add a file to burn. i have no idea why this is happening all of a sudden. i remove nero 7 and download nero 8 but the same issue remains. i have no clue why this is happening because i didn't change the setting since i first download the program. please help!

 

could it possibly be the movie file you are trying to record?

 

nope...the movie file is fine...i can't add any file. even if i try to click on the "add" button for burning songs, the program would freeze.

 

try cleaning out your computer ........ uninstall and reinstall Nero ..... reboot and try again.
