    Cannot write track at correct position with this recorder

    Burn process failed at 16.1x (22,218 KB/S)



    What does the top mean??????? and how can i fix it?

    Try burning at a slower speed. If time isn't too important, try burning at 4X. If it is a rush then you could try 8X.

    k i tried at 12, that didnt work so ill try it at 4 and c what happens

    does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

    Have you tried different media. I usually use RW media to keep from having coasters.

    You've tried at the different speeds but have you tried with a different disc? I've had tons of problems in the past that often came down to bad idscs, more common when multiple buying cheap discs but it can still happen with a respected manufacturers discs so try a different disc if you havent already.

    It's not always wise to burn at top speed either, I never burn faster than 8x really because
    a: some older players cant recognise discs burnt at faster speeds
    b: I get less errors overall
