there is a better version of Nero 7.... 7.10.1.0........

Save your serial # then uninstall Nero!
Use the cleaning tool: Nero7 Clean tool http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero7-tools-utilities.html
do a registry clean up using this free cleaner: CCleaner:
    http://www.ccleaner.com/download
then do a defrag and reboot!

    now reinstall Nero 7.10.1.0: http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?2893

update your firmware for your burner to 103D:
    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2114

you need to shut down unnecessary programs running in the background. No multi tasking and no internet while burning.

you're burning too close to the edge of the disk for those Immation disk..... that are made in India! Use better media.... either Verbatim or disks made in Japan (Taiyo Yuden).

burning too slowly is just as bad as burning too fast...... should be able to burn at 4x or 8x depending on your media! If Nero won't let you burn any faster on those DVD-R, 16x Imation disks then Nero and your burner don't like your media!

this driver runs havoc with Nero and it's found with Roxio/Sonic programs! Uninstall those programs and then use CCleaner, reboot!

do these changes and you should have better results! good luck.
