I am using windows 2k and purchased the retail version of Nero 6 Ultra Edition. I loaded that disk then went onto the site to get the newest version (6.6 something)The update went well except for InCD 4. It will not load. All I get is a message that an error has occurred and I am to try to load it again. I have used their clean up software, taken everything off twice but the newest version will not load no matter what I do. Should I try loading the software in safe mode? Any suggestions? All the other files work just fine./
Good, someone is looking down on you from the heavens, to protect you from InCD. Do a search on InCD and you'll see most remove it
yes InCD is not compatable with ALOT of programs so your better off removing it and not trying to load it
No, format a brand new DVD+RW so that you can, for example, put a movie on it. Maybe my head is up somewhere where it doesn't belong, but I believe that I read that you have to format a DVD+RW but that it is not necessary to do so for a DVD-R. Right now when I burn a movie on a DVD-R, I do not have to do anything special, just put it in the DVD burner and use software like copytodvd or Nero. My whole question I think evolves around the different requirements/procedures you need to do to use a re-writeable disk versus a one time write DVD. Thanks for trying to make sense of what I am asking.
