Nero installation problem

    I downloaded the free trial version of Nero and when I try to install it, I keep getting a invalid win 32 prompt from my pc. I'm trying to use the DVDShrink program. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    Just download it again, from the Nero website. See if that works.

    I did, and the same thing happens. I have Windows XP Professional as my operating system.

    is the Nero install that's givin the error ?. and what is the EXACT error ?

    when I try to install it, I get a message in the installation window that says: CRC failed in Common Files\AudioPlugins\Aac.dll Unexpected end of archive

    download it again, CRC means corruption. you didn't get the entire download or you got a corrupted download

    download it again, the error suggests the download got corrupted on the way to your pc - it happens. download it again

    I downloaded it 3 times. From here, from downloads.com, and from Nero itself, and I get the same thing everytime. Could the download itself be corrupted?

    Did u have nero installed before? If you did, try one of the cleaning tools offered on the nero website to fully get rid of the past installation.

    If thats not it, the download itself is not corrupt, i downloaded the trial for my brother's comp 2 days ago, and it worked fine.

    no, I never downloaded it before. This has been going on ever since I first tried to download it.

    Where would I get the cleaning tool since the file keeps getting corrupted on my pc?

    I have the same problem the same error.

    I tried the nero clean up tool still no luck.

    I downloaded it from too differnt places.

    It was downloading slow it was at like 20% est.
    then out of no were it was done downloadig,(could something have been done to this download that it dont work no more)

    Any other ideas out there?

    I got it to work,Not sure if it was the cleaning tool that fixed it or maybe it had something to do with me running the BT clint in the background the first couple times. I got it from soft32.com
    And it took for ever to download cause I got dialup.
    I have nero oem but i dont think it had/has the same stuff.
    Well it works so thank alot.
