Nero and several other burning applications are failing to recognise my DVD drive the only option I am getting is a virtual drive to save an image file. The drive itself is operating fine and will burn material using windows explorer and will read DVD's etc if material present on them, any ideas what could be causing this have tried updating/rolling back drivers and re-installing the programmes
i am having same problem i have and i have two dvd drives was working great then nothing .. i tried un installing and have reformatting whole computer still doesnt work .. someone please help DMA enabled firmware updated ... will read and burn iso but no movie formats..even tried with out nero nothing
