I've been having problems getting my burner to read discs. I tried to burn a DVD earlier using TY media, so this is clearly not a media issue. It seems like my drive is screwed up. I haven't even had this drive a year yet. I thought Lite-On's were supposed to be dependable?

This usually happens if you are copying discs where the original was burnt at a different speed. Try burning at a lower speed. Sometimes the discs themselves are to blame so also try a different brand.
