what do you mean what type of media am i using? if you mean what dvds i am using it has nothing to do with that because i have always used these and never had any probs befor it is since i formatted my pc
I didn't say what type ... I asked what brand? Ok whatever you say. I'm not the one who can burn one day and not the next.
You should never have any problems after a reformat. If you don't think it's the media, then uninstall Nero, use Nero's clean tools and reinstall it.
@john4582 - - way too old, plus you're using Express instead of Burning Rom. Uninstall Nero, uninstall completely via Nero's Clean Tools - " http://www.nero.com/en/Clean_Tools.html ", then install latest which is 6.6.0.15. Maybe use Burning Rom instead as Express is a dumbed-down version - your firmware is out of date, which will hinder your burner recognising media correctly/newer media/burn speeds. A fortnight ago US06 was the latest firmware for this drive from here - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2011 but that link's not responding at the moment. Was helping someone else with the same drive here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/206488 - oh i see, that huge figure 4194303MB is your hard drive, it's just i hardly come across Nero disc-copy logfiles.. - not sure if these discs are any good or not, i think TDK and Ridisc sell these, there's probably others - disc isn't blank or drive doesn't like that disc - think these are usually media-related errors - slow it down to 4x

@john4582 - still a few things to sort from the last time. until you sort these you will keep wasting discs. - - way too old, plus you're using Express instead of Burning Rom. Uninstall Nero, uninstall completely via Nero's Clean Tools - " http://www.nero.com/en/Clean_Tools.html ", then install latest which is 6.6.0.15. Maybe use Burning Rom instead as Express is a dumbed-down version. PS - DO NOT install Nero's InCD when you install 6.6.0.15 - see last paragraph in my reply - not sure if these discs are any good or not, i think TDK and Ridisc sell these, there's probably others - think these are usually media-related errors - slow it down to 4x - Nero's InCD (packet writing software) interferes with standard Nero. see first paragraph for removal details
