NERO caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff88396
    Register:

Did you use a pirated serial number/ regristration key? Nero has a tendency to decide to bellyup after its figured out your serial number is pirated.. Try Uninstalling Nero completely again, run Regedit and remove Nero's regristry keys cause the unistaller leaves the entries behind so when you reinstall the old regristry key values are still there which Nero loads anyway. and try degragging your HD or running a program like System Mechanic to get rid of any orpahned nero files that might have been left behind during the uninstall

Also could be a ASPI layer conflict as Nero uses its own. Try updating to ASPI 4.6. What O\S are you using?. I used to get those "kernal" errors using Win98/Win98SE. Uninstall Nero, reinstall see if you encounter same error.

Doesnt Nero allow you to choose which ASPI layer to use with Nero? Might be thinking of CloneCD or Blindwrite.. Not to sure but cant hurt to check right? Iffen Nero does allow you to choose which ASPI layer to use, try using Nero's own and if that dont wanna werk then try ASPI 4.6
