I have also used Nero to try to burn the protected cd but the whole process gets the same error as the Alcohol 120%. Can anyone tell me the correct way to burn this disc? IDE CD-R/RW 8x4x32 and a NEC DVD RW ND 1300A drive Thanks in advance for any help.
I think you are asking how to burn a protected dvd ? If so you need to use DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter. DVD 5's will burn with the decrypter program, DVD 9's need to be compressed by shrink and burned with Nero. Except for Nero the programs are free. You can also spend money and buy 321 Studios DVDX Copy Platinum. But the program costs money and has problems with some computers. It also does not compress as well as DVD Shrink.

Even though you spend the money on 321 products you will encounter problems, no softwear is perfect. I love 321 products but I have to tell you unless you very advanced you will encounter difficulties some simply caused by windows updates, others caused by conflicting softwear.
