    Hi all

I have got my movie to necessary size but when i burn with nero 5.0.10.0 it does not play on my upstairs standalone player but works fine on the pioneer dv444 downstairs, it is not the media as the media works fine upstairs when i have done a straight copy of film that doesn't need ripped

What settings r u using in nero?

One good way is UDF/ISO mode, Select level 2, UNCHECK Joliet, physical partitioning, v1.02

Another is UDF only, physical partitioning, v1.02

I had a compatibility issue and the UDF only sorted my problem out.

    Hope this helps.

another alternative is to use a totally different burning software.

I used to use Nero Burn v5.5.9.17, and most dvd played on my standalone player, but none of them worked on my xbox.

After doing some research, someone told me about Stomp RecordNow MAX software, it seems to be a very good movie dvd recorder. so far, every movie i've burned works in every standalone i've tried and EVEN my XBOX!!!
the only thing different, is that you ahve to create the AUDIO_TS adn VIDEO_TS folders, and put the movie files intot he video_ts folder and tehn burn those folders.

    hope that helps
