I am using Nero 8 and when i try to use show time to watch a film from my hard drive it is playing the sound but the picture is not there.
The screen is there but it has a picture of an album cover on it that i had down loaded a bit ago.
Any ideas would be great thank you.

see if it runs in VLC (free), what is the file type being used?

does it play in any other palyers?

do you have codec packs installed?

Thank you for replying. nero show time has always worked and i cant understand why it does not work now. I have installed vlc and the films run ok. i think it is something to do with nero.
    Thank you

did you try rebooting first. power dvd sometimes messes up and just rebooting solves the problem.
