I have created a slideshow ( in powerpoint) and saved the images as JPG then brought them into NERO 7 (Create a photo slide show). When I go to play the CD on my pc, it plays just fine, but is blurry. How do I fix this?!?! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH IN ADVANCE.
What's the resolution size on the saved jpegs? If you saved them at a too small resolution they will appear blurry at full screen.
I am not sure. When I got into Microsoft Powerpoint and choose save as, then choose JPG I don't get an option to change the resolution.
First off I have to admit that while I've been using Nero for years, I know "bean dip" about Powerpoint other than what it is and what it's used for. But I find this subject interesting so I couldn't leave it alone. Second, are the jpegs blurry when viewed separately with whatever picture viewer you use? After much research this is what I'm guessing. The problem might be in the "save as" step. It appears that although you are able to save as .jpeg, you should save as a .gif image file. Read here: http://home.ubalt.edu/abento/701/images/index.html That said, I don't know how (or if) Nero handles .gif files. I googled for "convert Powerpoint to .jpeg" and found many apps claiming that ability, but I couldn't find any for free and I'm not sure if converting the gif to jpeg (many free programs can do that) will then make it compatible with Nero. Although I don't see why not. I'd try it out myself but I don't have (or need) Office installed on my PC. I wish I could be more help but that's all I have for you at this time. But I am going to keep an eye on this thread for my own further knowledge.
Thank you very much for your help, wether it works or not, we'll soon find out. I'm going to try to save the slides as individual .gif images and then import them into Nero Vision (Photo Slide Show) and see if that makes a difference. Will keep you updated. Thanks so much again!
Ok, So, I did the suggest (gif) and not much change grrr frustrating. I even went as far as to open the JPG and GIF with a photo editing software, change the resolution to 184 pixel/per inch, which in turn enlarged the overall size of the photo (since I am taking it to a much larger field). Even this proved to fail I have managed to succeed this process once about 8 months ago, when I created the origina SVCD that I am currently using in my office, but I simply don't remember how I managed to do that! Ugghhhh Back to the drawing board, any other ideas would be GREATLY appriciated!
