I recently bought the SonyDRX 700 UL DVD burner. (Very Nice Too) and it came bundled with Nero SE (sony Edition) It's version # is 6.3.1.12 Is this a better version that what you buy in the box or is it the same stuff It seems to have a ton of prorgams. Most of which I don't know how to use yet. It seems like a pretty nice package
Manufacturers buy from software companies the rights to distribute the software with their hardware -- It all depends what rights Sony has paid to Ahead (Nero) for what they are giving you. You can always go to Nero website and download the trial versions so you can compare. Usually OEM software do not have all the goodies the software company offers.
