Nero Start Smart

    I have been burning dvds on Nero Start Smart from files after I have decrypted the dvd that I want to burn. I have the usual 4.7gb disc, the dvds that I could burn on shrink is now telling me that I need a bigger disc can someone help me out ?? thanks pacificg

    You ripped the DVD then 'shrinked' it to fit a standard DVD and saved the files to a folder.
    Then you run Nero and it's telling you that the files wont fit?

    Thank you for answering me, yes thats right , according to dvd shrink 3.2 my space capacity is fine no problems, but then i try to copy from Nero Start Smart using the files, if it goes over 9 files it is asking for a bigger disc do you have any answers much appreciate pacificg

    Have DVD Shrink open the 'Shrinked' files and back them up again to a new folder.

    Yes it does , but it willonly cope with 9 files or less , it is giving a false capacity

    To prove that this is a Nero problem or not, run Imgburn , select 'Write Files/Folders to Disc'.
    Insert a blank and check the 'Test Mode' box on the lower left of the screen.
    Drag the VIDEO_TS folder that was output by DVD Shrink onto the window and click the green button to burn the disk (it will be a simulated burn).
    If the files are too large, you will see a pop-up menu with this information.
