Hi I had this problem a couple of times now i tried to burn some files on a dvd-r with nero the problem is it burns a few % sometimes almost the whole cd and then it just stops it sits there and does nothing i don't get an error message but it won't eject the dvd either if someone knows what's wrong please help.
paste LAST section of Nero log which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar..
nothing at all but everytime it happens the buffer is at 8% it says action track and recorder state ready the time is still going too just the progress bar and the burner stopped
maybe try this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm. after that download dvdinfopro (free from www.dvdinfopro.com) and run one of those discs thru it's media info check, pasting results here

@yukiko20 - now we're running on gas... - too old, latest is 6.6.0.15 - yup, Nero is tool old to recognise your burner correctly - a-ha - DMA needs to be ON. fix like this - - any reason you're not finalising the disc ?. it needs to be finalised to work properly on other drives - try burning at 4x
i just had to update it since one of the updates actually fixed that dunno why i didn't think about that in the first place >.< thank you for all the help
