Hey folks. Well, I downloaded the latest nero trial software to burn a VCD the other day, and then uninstalled the trial version. I use DVDDecrypter and Sonic DVD for my recording needs usually. The problem I have now is that only CD's will burn, and DVDDecrypter and Sonic will not burn DVD's. For example, right now I'm trying to burn a Linux ISO file, but it will not allow me to write to disk.

I've downloaded the nero software remover tool, searched through my registry and removed all instances of nero and ahead, reinstalled DVDDecrypter. Still, my system will not burn DVD's and if I put in a blank DVD and click on my drive through My Computer, I now get the message : "D:\ is not accessible, Incorrect function".

In DVDDecrypter, when I go to burn the ISO(or anything else), i get the message:

    "I/O error
    Scsistatus 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition
(and a bunch of address numbers)

I'm aware that having multiple burning programs can cause problems, but something tells me that Nero has removed something from my system when it was uninstalled. Any help is much appreciated!!

I just reinstalled the Nero trial and now it's working using only Nero though.

If anyone has experienced and have any thoughts on the matter, I would be much grateful.
