Nero v8.3.13.0 Copy Entore CD Or DVD Issues!

I am experiencing problems with Nero Burning ROM and Express under Vista Enterprise and Ultimate on 2 seperate machines with Nero v8.3.13.0. Using vista Enterprise & Ultimate SP1 x64.

Here's where it starts. If I simply want to copy an entire CD or DVD selecting the correct burner drive (no on the fly burning) I get as far as it reading it and asking for blank disc and when inserting the correct blank media it hangs on there and comes back with please insert the correct media, or the disc in drive is not ready or the correct type. On my notebook it will eventually freeze and sometimes the burner is dropped out of system all together requiring a restart to enable.

Oddly enough I can burn to Nero Image recorder as and ISO and then burn ISO directly to disc in Nero Burning ROM w/ no problems. I can even burn projects in UDF/IFO system to DVD and make CD projects for music disc. But I just cant use copy entire disc mode unmanaged. I have to copy in the 2 steps method for now till I figure it out. This did not happen in v8.2.6.0 or 7.13 final.

Any ideas?
