Some time last week Nero Vision 10 stopped working for me. I wrote to Nero adn they had me run Get Support and sent the report to them TWICE and I hae not heard back from them. All the other Nero stuff in 10 seems to work fine but Vision does not. Please help. I have run the software and it tells me all is ok and does not finx the problem. If I delete Vision, it reinstalls it and does not work. Why does Nero not answer me??
I had Nero 7 ultra enhanced and it worked fine for a time then I started having problems with nero vision and couldnot uninstall all the components to Nero so I began to speak to friends that use to use Nero and they told me they had the same problems with the software and said Nero has a way to get into your registry and disable any other burning software you have installed on your computer and disables your burners or dvd devices. So what I did and I would not recomend you try this unless you have some computer skills, I went into the registry and removed all nero files and folders and I no longer use Nero and my computer works flawless. All other software is back to normal and my burners work on all software. Hope this helps you.
I have had this type of thing in the past. Nero is considering this problem of mine and I am still waiting for an answer. I did a live e-chat with Nero and I have installed Nero 9 in addition to Nero 10 amd I can have both on the same computer. My problem with Nero is that I want to use AVI files to make DVDs and Nero Vision will do that, even though it takes some time to do so, due to the converstion time, Is there some other software that will allow me to use any video files to make DVDs. So far Nero 9 works very well and if Nero 10 does not work I can always uninstaall it. Thank you for you kind advice, Guy
