Hey guys, still having problems getting Nero Vision 4 to burn an avi to DVD despite having burnt many in the past using the same version (4.7.0.16) and the same DVD+Rs (Maxell). I've tried everything: clearing drive space, altering burn speed to the lowest setting, changing to burn at once etc. Any help is as always greatly appreciated. Here's the log... Hi ems46 I'd leave the burn at once turn off. It does the transcoding and burning at the same time so if there is a problem w/ the file bam you get a coaster. Try breaking it down in 2 steps. Save to the hard drive instead of burning. All ok there then use Burning Rom or Express to burn the video_ts folder. Try burning at 8x. The memory in use from the logs goes from 97% in use to 65% in use. Vision can be pretty resource intense so close any unneeded programs to keep as much memory free as possible. Have you done a disc defrag, registry cleaner and virus scan very recently? Might not be the cause but good to do on a regular basis anyway.
Thanks for the advice Binkie. I defraged yesterday and ran ccleaner a few days ago. I'll try transcoding to a folder then a separate burn, and I'll let you know how I get on.
