    Nero Vision 4 keeps crashing while I try to encode a NTSC DVD from a PAL avi. Why is it crashing?

    I have the latest K-Lite codec and just updated my video driver. When it starts to encode Nero just exits without warning. How can I fix this?

    Which version of Nero do you have?

    Most that I do in Nero are PAL to NTSC conversions so I don't think thats the problem. May just be something with the file Nero doesn't like.

    Try another program too - here's a free one -DivXtoDVD.
    Set the standard to the TV format you're in - sounds like your in NTSC.
    Save the the hard drive then use Nero Burning Rom or Express to burn the video_ts folder.
