I am having a problem with Nero vision 4 that I hope that someone will be able to help me with. When I use the option to add menus, because a disc is to contain more than one video file, I find that the videos skip and jump in playback, sometimes freezing altogether. I use the 2-pass (vbr) option when burning, but this doesn't seem to help. I have even tried leaving the computer to do the burn and closing all other programs, still no help. The files themselves are fine, if I burn them to a disc on their own with no menu, they work great. Could anyone tell me what the problem is an how to solve it? Thanks
it's not Nero that makes the video pixelate, skip or freeze. And if you really think that when you don't use a menu that your video works properly.... well that could have been just a coincidence or your using DIFFERENT MEDIA! Because the most common cause of skipping, freezing or pixelations are due to crappy media. The next thing would be that you are burning too fast for the disk (again-crappy media). Sooooo using better media (Taiyo Yuden-the best, Verbatim-second best) stops problems like you're having. Try this... use better media and burn again! You'll find out that it will stop this kind of problems.
I have a similar problem with skipping, never thought about using a different media. This solution is worth a try.
