    Hi there,

I want to take a video clip that's about 45 seconds long and be able to send it via email. I have a friend who has the same program.. and he's able to export the clip in a mpeg format. It's a choice for him in the drop down menu. I don't have that choice. All I have is DVD, etc. Is there something I can do? A setting I can change? I've played with everything, but the file remains too big at some 25 or more mbs.

    Please help!

You can upload the clip to one of the free sites, like rapidshare for example, or megaupload, and email the link for the upload. You will be able to access the file from virtually anywhere you have internet connection, just like if it were in your email. Don't know the exact size limit, but it can be up to 100MB, or maybe even more(I think megaupload has a higher limit).

So is there no way to do it in Nero? Because my friend can.

Yes, and when you see the pulldown menu up top that says you can select your template, he is able to choose MPEG1 or MPEG2 so I'm wondering if other peoples can as well.... or how I can make mine do the same.

What version of Nero do you have installed? Are you certain you are following the same steps as your friend?
I understand your desire to fix the issue; however, everytime you do a conversion, you lose quality.

I believe I'm running on Nero Vision 4,5,0,29? I think that's it. I have Nero Ultra 7 as a whole package.
